and to celebrate this liam AKA mellah has kindly released one of his early demos which you can get exclusively from our bandcamp page, as a pay what you like or totally free download. it's a really beautiful cut that showcases liam's songwriting in it's most affecting and rawest form, we hope you like it!

for those that don't know, liam and oli of plum cuts share their little legs studio in peckham, the central point of plum cuts music making. their friendship and musical love affair began almost 8 years ago when oli was recording liam's previous (excellent) band black manilla, but it was after liam sent oli a collection of his home demos that their relationship blossomed, subsequently working together on mellah's debut EP 'liminality' and then consistently ever since

oli says 'i don't think plum cuts would exist without liam - he has been a constant source of inspiration and sounding board for all of my ideas for years, not to mention without his building skills the studio for the labels music to develop in simply wouldn't have been constructed, so to be able to have it come around full circle and be able to release liam's music, especially one of the early demos that drew me to his music in the first place, feels incredibly special'
